Job Description

JRM is looking for a Visualization Engineer with strong C++ skills, 3D graphics and visualization to join our team of experienced and dedicated software developers in the Salt Lake City, Utah area. The ideal candidate performs productively in a fast-paced work environment, has great communication skills, works well independently and as part of a team, is passionate about their work and is eager to be part of a dynamic group of focused and creative individuals.

The employee is expected to design, development, and implement creative solutions in a collaborative environment. Candidate must be able to apply sound engineering principles and to complete assigned tasks and meet scheduled commitments. Solutions must be consistent with organizational objectives and processes.

 

Desired Skills & Experience

Qualifications include:

  • BS in Engineering/Physics/Math/Computer Science
  • MS or PhD desired
  • OpenGL, Direct3D experience
  • Must be eligible for Security Clearance
  • Development experience in Linux and Windows OS
  • C/C++

Pluses include:

  • Expertise with nVidia or ATI low-level graphics programming
  • Military Flight Simulation Software
  • OpenSceneGraph
  • Image processing
  • Thermal modeling
  • Radar sensors
  • IR sensors
  • Real-Time Systems Design and Development
