Licensing

Overview

This page contains instructions for setting up your JRM products and licenses. It is intended for customers already having received access to JRM software and licenses. If you need either, please contact JRM Customer Service.

If you have a trial or demo license (LIC file received via email)...

1. Install your JRM software.
2. Install your license by following the instructions in the email you received containing your license.

Once you have made a purchase and have received a permanant CodeMeter license (dongle or WBB file)...

1. Install your JRM software.
2. Install the CodeMeter software:
    For Windows users...

   1. Download the supporting software package: CodeMeter
   2. Install the package:
      1. Double-click the package.
      2. Follow the wizard.  Accept all license agreements and default settings.
   3. Reboot when complete.

    For 64-bit Linux users...

   1. Download the supporting software package: CodeMeter
   2. Install the package via:
      rpm -ivh <package name>
   3. Reboot when complete.

    For everyone else...

   1. Click on this link:  http://www.wibu.com/downloads-user-software.html
   2. Fill out the search parameters with the appropriate "Language" and "Operating System".
   3. Fill out the "Search" field with "CodeMeter" and then click "Search".
   4. Download the "CodeMeter for Users / CodeMeter Runtime..." software.
   5. Install the software package as is appropriate for your operating system:
      1. Linux (as root):
         rpm -ivh <package name> 
      2. Windows (with admin privileges):
         1. Double-click the package.
         2. Follow the wizard.  Accept all license agreements and default settings.
3. Install your license by following the instructions in this document.
